Have you thought about mounting your TV and wanted to hide the wires? It sounds easy, doesn't it?
Had hiding the cables been that easy, the TV's original mounter would have done it by now! Remember that the cost of the work you are paying for has nothing to do with the TV's purchase price. You are improving your house, that's for sure! It is exactly the same as if you were paying for landscaping, wall painting, flooring installation, etc.

  • The television is already mounted, usually over a fireplace.
  • Wires are everywhere.
  • Behind the TV, there is no current electrical outlet or power supply.
  • The present HDMI/AV cords are too short; the components and power strip are hanging in the air.
Well, the TV is already mounted; now what?
The fact that the television is already installed adds a step to the process!
The following is often required to repair the hanging wires:

  • Unplug the components
  • Remove the television.
  • Make electric outlets above the mantle; a single outlet may cost an electrician $175 or more.
  • Reroute video cable
  • Run wires through the walls; consider wall studs, firebreaks, insulation, and sewage pipes.
  • Remounting the Television
  • Re-joining components
Now, how much will this cost?
For drywall walls, wire concealment may typically cost $100–$250. Specialty situations that include brick, piled stone, tile, and so on often start at $500 or more.

So why not plan to conceal the wires when mounting the TV?
We may be able to help.  Just ask before you mount. Some concealment may only require an external wire raceway or an in-wall power extender.

What is a virtual SIM router?
A virtual SIM Router is a 4G router without a physical SIM (it requires a subscription service from www.titan-satellite.com). The router is mainly aimed at the office, home, security, and IoT. It provides high-speed and reliable routing and data transmission capabilities, to meet their different application scenarios.

What is the difference between a virtual SIM also known as an e-SIM, and a physical SIM card?
The main difference between eSIM and a physical SIM card is that eSIM is “embedded” in the phone and cannot be removed, as opposed to a physical SIM card, which can be ejected from one phone or device and placed in another.

Can you switch plans with a virtual sim (eSim)?
The great thing about eSIMs is that it makes switching carriers and plans super easy. Compatible carriers are able remotely wipe the data on your eSIM and reprogram it—no more waiting around for your new SIM card to arrive. eSIMs allow you to switch plans within a matter of minutes. They also allow the router/modem to quickly switch between carriers for the best signal possible.

Titan Rural (Wireless)
Wireless broadband uses a radio link between the customer's location and the service provider's facility to connect a house or business to the Internet. Wireless broadband can be portable or stationary.
Wireless systems that use longer-range directional equipment can provide broadband access in rural or sparsely inhabited locations where DSL or cable modem connection would be prohibitively expensive. In general, speeds are equivalent to those of DSL and cable modems.

Low-Profile Wall Mount Brackets
Typically, low-profile TV wall mounts brackets are the easiest to install and the lowest in cost compared to tilting and full-motion wall mounts.

The wall mounting process for a low-profile mount is only slightly more difficult than hanging a heavy picture on the wall. This ease of installation comes with a price — the inability to adjust the TV after it’s installed.

Low-profile mounts don’t tilt and they don‘t move up and down or left and right. This lack of movement makes switching out cables complicated. Since the flat panel TV doesn’t, on its wall mount, you have to physically remove the flat panel from the wall to change cables.

Tilting Wall Mount Brackets
Tilting TV wall mount brackets cost a little more than low-profile wall mounts and usually a little less than full-motion wall mounts.

Tilting wall mounts install with the same level of ease as low-profile mounts. The only significant difference between a tilting wall mount and a low-profile wall mount is that you can adjust the vertical viewing angle when using a tilting wall mount.

Full-Motion Wall Mount Brackets
Full-motion wall mounts are, as they proclaim, full motion. This motion, however, comes with a cost, which makes full-motion wall mounts the most expensive of the wall mounts.

In addition to being costly, full-motion wall mounts are usually more complicated to install. Because the mounting bracket has moving pieces — an arm — you’ll need two or three people to hang the TV on the wall mount bracket.

As far as motion goes, the key difference between full-motion and tilting wall mounts is that full-motion wall mounts brackets allow you to adjust the horizontal viewing angle by physically moving the flat panel away from the wall.

That is possible because full-motion wall mounts have a move-able arm that connects the flat panel to the wall. This arm makes it possible to extend the TV away from the wall so you can swivel it on its horizontal axis.

The wall mount has a pivot in the middle of the installation bracket that is like a seesaw turned on its side. The pivot makes it possible to maintain a good viewing angle whether you are lying on the floor or standing on a ladder.

As a result, changing out cables is easier with a tilting wall mount bracket than with a low-profile wall mount, but the tilt feature is limited. If you need horizontal swivel or tilt then a full-motion wall mount is a better option for you.

Ceiling Mount Brackets
When mounting your TV to the wall isn't an option, a ceiling mount may be the solution. Because these brackets are attached to the ceiling, most ceiling mounts rotate and tilt in all directions. A ceiling mount is also a good option when living space is limited. The difficulty of installation is the downside. You may need to hire a professional to install the mount safely.

Do you have a spot for the components?
If you're like most people, your television is connected to a number of different things. To allow the cords from your game consoles, cable box, DVR, and similar devices to reach the TV's output ports, they must be placed close to your television. I installed a floating shelving unit underneath my television to fix this issue.

Do you have a cord-concealing plan?
Unorganized cables running up the wall have the potential to damage the elegant appearance of a mounted TV. Even if you don't plug anything into your television, you'll still have to deal with an unsightly cord that hangs from your wall to the outlet. The television's tail—is that all right with you?

Can your wall handle it?
The ability of your wall to support the television is the most crucial factor to take into account while mounting one. Even the newest, lightest televisions weigh considerably more than your largest framed artwork. As a result, the position you select will require one or more studs to anchor the screws.

Are you mounting it above a fireplace?
It might seem like a good idea to set your TV over your fireplace, but it's not.
Why? Soot and heat
Heat is the worst thing that can happen to an electronics product (well, maybe water or kicking it may be worse, but you get the idea). An increase in the TV's working temperature can reduce its expectedly lengthy and active lifespan. Even worse, the soot from the fire may enter the TV's internal components and cause damage. Now, you're okay if you never actually use your fireplace. Or otherwise, be cautious.

We will remove the dish (or antenna) and all exterior cabling. For orders to remove a standard sized satellite dish from a roof we leave all mounting brackets intact. If you'd like the bracket removed as well please contact us to discuss. For all ground level removals we cut mounting poles to ground level.  The in-ground portion of pole mount maybe removed (whenever possible) for an additional fee.  Please read the entire scope of work detailed in our terms and conditions for full details.
